SaaS projects do not die from competition, but from silence.

This weekend, a quick look at what actually kills most SaaS products.

This weekend, a quick look at what actually kills most SaaS products.

Spoiler: it's not competition, it's not a lack of MVP, and it's not even bugs.

This is a lack of marketing.

If I could go back in time and give myself one piece of advice, it would be:
"Write about the product before it's ready."

Seriously. If no one hears you, you don't exist.

Even if your product solves a super painful problem.

My rules now:

1. Talk about the product before, during and after the release

2. Show yourself - not just code.

3. Always have the message "who is it for and why is it important".

If you don't sell the product, you're just a hobbyist, even if you have +10k lines of code.

They won't copy you. You just won't be noticed.
